Hint (valid for all chargers that do not
automatically stop charging when batteries are full):
Look at the label on your battery to see
how many mAh (charge storing capability) they have to estimate
the required charging time. For example, a 1000mAh battery requieres
charging with 200mA for 5 hours to be fully charged.
Consider that at half the full sun intensity
charging will occur at half the speed!
However, you don't need to fully charge
the battery always - partial charging is ok with most battery
packs (although not preferable in the long run).

Don´t let yourself
be confused. In practice you may safely assume that a "12V"
charger is suitable for charging 12V batteries and so is a charger
that supplies e.g. 15.2V.
The ability to choose the
output voltage makes this charger a very good deal. |
